“Why do you cry to me? Tell the people to move forward.”

 

The journey of moving out of Egypt and inheriting Canaan was characterized by many challenges. One such was that of crossing the red sea and facing the Egyptian soldiers who were advancing greatly to take them back to slavery. Praying and crying out to God in the midst of this great commotion seemed to be the ideal thing to do by Moses. But surprisingly, God called out to Moses to stop crying to Him; in other words, God asked him to stop praying.

Having come this far with Moses in fulfilling His promise of delivering the people of Israel, God would harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will come after the Israelites and would turn out to be Pharaoh’s destruction. Clearly, there was no need for Moses to exercise fear, but to boldly advance forward to receive his victory. It was a call for Moses to advance to the next level of experiencing God’s power in fulfilling His promise. And except he moves forward, he will not experience God’s salvation. All this move was in a bid for God to reveal Himself to Moses and the Israelites as JEHOVAH.

For us to get into a higher spiritual realm and understanding of God, we need to MOVE FORWARD.

 

We need to advance in every area of our spiritual service to God and humanity, and we have to advance into another higher level of exercising faith in following God. There are things we have been praying about for years now and God has given us light to show that He has begun answering it. Now is time not to be in fear again over what God is doing. STOPING CRYING TO GOD, exercise another level of faith and put into action the instructions God has told you to do. Take another step into the situation and God will make a way out for you. Start praising God for victory, move into those nations and begin to work in their midst. GOD’S WORD TO YOU: Begin now to gather together the necessary materials needed for the work. Do not remain in the same place again crying. Put your faith to work.

We are these days being pursued by forces that want to get us back into captivity. These include religious forces like Islam, Hinduism, church religion; environmental forces like worldliness, compromise, etc. They are coming after Christianity with every weight of forces – shedding our blood, taking us into prison and denying us our rights. Concerning these, the body of Christ has been praying with agony these years to be delivered of them all. At a point, it seems as if the church has been liberated from their clutches. But recently, with the news and happenings, it seems these forces are coming in a fiercer nature and the church is turning back to start crying for their liberation again with much fear. This has retarded the church from advancing to take hold of the unreached nations. Much of the attention now is on how to stop them from making further attacks on the church globally and no longer on how to take up the remaining unreached nations, receiving God's promise to us as in Psalm 2:8.

But God is saying to us: STOP PRAYING AND CRYING TO ME to stop your adversaries, I have already taken care of them. Just MOVE FORWARD and go to receive your promise.

​

Today, TETMI is calling on you to join us as we move forward to inherit more nations for Christ despite the numerous challenges that confront us as a ministry. We are moving into new territories against all odds! This also calls for your advancing to another higher level of commitment to God through our work in TETMI; even praying and supporting her work amongst the unreached. May God continue to bless you as you yield this urgent call.
